I was so proud when I brought Steve home from the hospital. He was one of the prettiest babies I had ever seen. I watched him grow up to be a great man, a great husband, and father. I was really proud of him when he got two associates degrees from college. Steve you don't know how much I miss you. I wish we could have had more time together, but God needs you more than me. Steve you will always be my little boy. I will always love you with all my heart and soul. You will always be in my heart. One of these days when we all come home to heaven we will see you again. Love, Mommy

                                                                                                                                                           Loretta Brewer (Mother)

Steve, what can I say. Your the best big brother in the world. You were always there for me while we were growing up. You would take care of and look after me when mom or dad were at work. We were like two peas in a pod, inseparable, I couldn't have asked for a better brother, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. I will cherish all the good memories we have made over the years. You are a wonderful person, brother, and family man. I miss you and I love you always and forever.

There's a special place in my heart
Where I can feel you near
No matter how far, brother, you are
In my thoughts you appear
The way we were with each other
Makes it hard to be apart
So when I can't hold you in my arms
I hold you in my heart

I remember Steve as a kind person. He was always so nice to everyone. Never said anything bad about anyone. Most of all he took off his Pittsburg hat off the first I met him. David Smart
